I read that outer silence helps promote inner silence. Sometimes we just need to find our quite place. My favorite quite place is when everyone is still in bed and I wake really early and enjoy my coffee in complete silence, or when I go for a long walk along. These are times when it's just me and God. I tune out the rest of the word and just enjoy the silence. This world is a noisy place. It can be super busy and super stressful sometimes. When we take time to find our quite place, our soul begins to calm down. When we learn to love the silence and tune out the world, you will be more inclined to hear the still, small voice of God.
