Temptation is one of the realities of the Christian life and a hinderance to success, we must work to overcome. Jesus said, "Temptation must come," so be on your guard against it. There are many types of temptations, so we don't always recognize discouragement and thoughts of giving up as being temptation from the devil. But the devil wants you to be discouraged and give up. Satan does not want you to succeed at anything, so the next time you are tempted to throw in the towel and give up, you need to say out loud, " I will not quit, I refuse to give up, I trust God and I will finish what He has called me to do."
