n today's verse, Jesus said that God is glorified when we bear fruit. He also spoke of fruit in Matthew 12:23 when He said that trees are known by the fruit they bear, and in Matthew 7:15-16, He applied this same principal to people. This means as Christians we need to be concerned about what kind of fruit we are bearing. We want to make sure that we are bearing fruit that Glorifies God. But fruit bearing also requires pruning. What do I mean? A fruit grower, will trim off branches that are not bearing fruit, removing all the dead branches until it is able to bear good fruit. Jesus said, "Any branch in Me that does bear fruit, He cuts away ( trims off, takes away) and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch to make it bear more fruit. What branches in your life need pruning in order to produce good fruit. Fruit that will Glorify and Honor God. Pruning is necessary for growing and this same principal applies to our lives as well. It's time to become a fruit inspector today to see what kind of fruit you are bearing. It is good or is is bad?
