Be on your guard; stand firm in faith; be courageous; be strong.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
