Let each one give just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.  Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.  But take heart, because I have overcome the world.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the rock and strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you.

I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind.....

Above all, take the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight.  Everything is uncovered and laid bare before him to whom we must give account.

So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them.....

For great is Your mercy and loving-kindness toward me....

How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
