Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.

It is well with my soul.

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time He will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares for care about you.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trails. Be assured that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.

For the Word of the Lord is right; and all His work is done in faithfulness.
