It is important for us to know that God sees everything. If we would keep this in mind, it might motivate us to better behavior. We might not have told that lie, (and by the way there is no such thing a white lie) honesty is always the best policy. Or maybe we wouldn't gossip about other people if we kept in mind that God is always listening. Maybe we wouldn't mistreat other people if we would remember that God is always watching. One day we will have to give God account for our behavior. You might feel like you are hiding things from other people, but you can't hide anything from God. He is always watching and He sees everything. The world would be a better place if we would keep this in mind. We are not perfect and God does not expect us to be perfect. But He does want us to live a life that glorifies Him.
