Goodwill Tenneva is in need of volunteers in Kingsport to sort clothing and shoe donations from across the region to distribute to residents in counties impacted by Hurricane Helene. Goodwill is sending out mobile units to the counties with free clothing and shoes. Please contact Goodwill Tenneva’s Volunteer Services by calling 423-245-0600 or by emailing [email protected] if you or your organization is interested in volunteering. Shifts are available Monday-Friday now through January 3, 2025. Three-hour shifts start at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. Limit of 10 volunteers per available shift. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older, wear appropriate and comfortable clothing that can get dirty, and wear appropriate closed footwear (no bare feet, flip flops, sandals, or heels).
